A Functional Inclusion System is an ingredient component for use within a finished formulation—not a complete finished product by itself.
Does the system replace my entire formulation?
No. It simplifies a defined group of functional ingredients within your wider product formula. Your base, flavours, sweeteners and other ingredients remain specific to your product.
Can I use a system in an existing product?
Potentially, yes. It may be used to add or simplify functional ingredients in a new or existing formulation, subject to technical and regulatory review.
Is the inclusion rate fixed?
Each system has a reference inclusion rate. The final dosage must be confirmed against the finished formula, serving size, sensory requirements and applicable regulations.
Will documentation be available?
Yes. Certificates of Analysis and nutritional breakdowns are available for the materials supplied.
Can PLFM make regulatory claims for my finished product?
No. The finished-product owner remains responsible for formula suitability, permitted ingredients, claims, labelling and regulatory compliance in the intended market.
