Essential Amino Acid Powder (EAA + BCAA)

Purewellness Essential Amino Acid Powder delivers pure amino acids to optimise health, support sports and exercise and promote muscle mass maintenance. This EAA formulation may be taken pre-workout, intra-workout or between meals. EAA supplements support on-going wellness by delivering the nine essential amino acids, in a balanced ratio backed by the published research of Dr Robert Wolfe.

EAA product are beneficial during weight loss programs to reduce muscle losses, which typically occur when restricting calorie intakes. This EAA blend has been specifically formulated to promote protein synthesis in the young and elderly, where it may be used for bodybuilding, muscle maintenance, to supplement low dietary protein, support recovery from illness and promote health ageing.

This product contains a higher leucine content than your average BCAA. Though 2:1:1 is typically favoured for stand-alone branched chain amino acid products, the higher leucine content is crucial to overcoming anabolic resistance that can occur with older age. Moreover, this balance of EAAs (with a high leucine content) has also been clinically trialed in younger individuals and has shown to generate a robust muscle protein synthesis response.

Volume to Weight Ratio 5:3

To find out how much powder a container/pouch will hold, multiply the ml (volume) number by 0.6

E.g., A 500ml container will hold 300g and comfortably fit 250g Powder. It is not recommended to fill each container to the absolute top, as it may need to hold a scoops or silica sachet and we need to account for variations in aeration of the powder.
